Bascinet "Pig face" [MIULF-HM-03]

This reproduction is based on a hounskull made in Milan around 1390 a.d. It is part of the armour from Churburg, Tyrol. The helmet has a completely removeable, hinged visor, attachable with a peg attached with a chain. Delivery includes a comfortable, padded linen inlay. 
It is made from riveted armour steel with brass ornamentation. There is a moveable visor as well as comfortable leather inlay with chin strap. The brass rivets at the sides are meant for attaching an aventail for chest and shoulders.
