"Italian style" armour typical of the second half of the XVth century. Armors like this was made by the milanese master armorers between 1400 and 1500, commissioned by nobles and captains throught Europe. The armor depicted is similar to the one weared by Roberto of Sanseverino, commander of the Venetian army during the war against the Hapsburg for the control of the southern Tyrol and died in battle in 1487. Now it is held at Waffensammlungen museum in Wien.
