The same attributes that made the ax so well known on the battlefields of yesteryear are still true today. Easily able to defeat modern armor with the same efficiency with which it dispatched the knights of antiquity, this ax is a true power of performance.

Cold Steel's steel ax is cleverly forged from 1055 carbon steel. The extremely sharp ax blade and the hard hammer head are differentially heat treated, leaving the ends of the gun hard and the body a little softer to absorb shock and impact.

The rugged American ash rope is reinforced with black steel plates.
