Pollaxe with wooden shaft, circa 1475
The pollaxe, or pole-axe was the most common polearm of the late middle ages and Renaissance.
It has an axe on one side and a hammer on the other.
Replicated after an original piece from 1475 AD our pollaxe is hand-made from wood and steel.
The wooden shaft is mid-length.
